When Every Second Counts

Fire Alarm Systems from BTV

Whether you’re in a commercial or industrial setting, fire is a primary concern for your facilities and the safety of your most valuable asset: your employees.

In the workplace, a basic smoke detector isn’t enough – you need a full-featured fire alarm system that will give your employees the most warning possible.

In industrial settings, fire protection is even more vital. If your operations involve flammable materials, hazardous chemicals, or other unique fire hazards, your fire protection system must alert employees and guide them to the correct egress routes and marshaling locations for the specific threat.

Fire Alarm Systems From the Industry Leader

BTV Systems installs and services fire protection systems from Edwards Vigilant, the industry leader in facility fire protection. Edwards’ fire protection solutions are modular and scalable, using cutting-edge sensor and initiator technologies to identify and pinpoint a fire, alert occupants, and provide real-time status information on mission-critical building systems: telephones, electrical supply, and others.

When you partner with BTV for your facility’s fire safety system, we will:

  • Survey your facility

  • Discover any fire safety needs that are unique to your site

  • Work with your local fire authorities and insurance company

  • Install a fire protection system that meets your specific needs

Don’t Play With Fire, Ensure Fire Safety With BTV Systems

At best, a non-compliant or inadequate fire protection system can expose you to fines, suspension of operations, and other penalties. At worst, it can lead to system failures, missed alerts, and even loss of life.

Fire alarm systems from BTV:

  • are designed to meet all federal, state, and local fire codes.
  • are certified by UL Solutions, the gold standard for electrical safety.
  • are installed by a NICET Level III Engineering Technician, ensuring that your system is installed according to engineering best practices.

Fault Detection

Fire alarm systems from BTV leverage technologies to be more fault aware. Our systems perform continuous diagnostic checks and alert you when a fault is detected in a particular piece of equipment.

Over time, smoke detectors lose sensitivity due to dust, dirt, and other contaminants that obscure the sensors. Our detectors sense the amount of contamination and automatically adjust their sensing thresholds to account for the decrease. Once a detector’s functionality has fallen below a pre-set threshold, we’ll be notified and can come clean or replace the affected unit.

Scheduled Fire Inspections

To complete your compliance needs, BTV performs the required annual fire inspection for all systems we install to ensure that your system is properly functioning and updated to meet any changes in code requirements.

System Integration for Improved Safety

BTV fire protection systems can integrate with other BTV products to provide detailed, real-time safety information:

  • A suspended red 'EXIT' sign with an arrow pointing to the right hangs from the ceiling in a modern, well-lit corridor. The hallway features blue cushioned benches against a wall, a smoke detector, and closed doors lining the area.

Push incident details, preferred egress routes, marshaling points, and additional evacuation information out to video displays and digital signage throughout your facility

  • A close-up of a red alarm light and speaker panel on a beige wall. The alarm light is lit, glowing with an orange hue, while the speaker section features a circular pattern of small holes.

Make sure alerts are heard with high-volume loudspeaker systems delivering alarms, prerecorded safety information, or live audio directly from facility management or first responders

  • A close-up of a fire alarm control panel with a digital display showing an active alarm status. The display indicates a smoke alarm on the 2nd floor east hall. A hand is pressing buttons on the keypad below the screen. Various LEDs indicate system statuses.

Interactive control panels allow safety officials to monitor incident status so firefighting, rescue, and other resources are dispatched accurately and effectively
